2019 Recap & Next Steps

As we head into 2020, I want to personally thank each one of you for supporting House of Compassion. Last year was a year of waiting, but it was also filled with incredible things that God did behind the scenes, such as:

  • Outreaches in the village, including a Superbook Club and a Samaritan’s Easter program, to show the village who we are that we care about the kids.

  • Visiting teams who came and helped with landscaping, putting in a pressure tank for the well, and giving us overall support.

  • A weekly Drop-In Center ministry to come alongside the graduates so they know they have a support system.

  • Establishing Restored Dreams in Ukraine and finalizing its by-laws

  • Approval! Paperwork was conditionally approved and we are beginning the next steps to start building after we receive full approval, hopefully by the end of March.

Next Steps: 

  • Finalizing the details for the house plan

  • Applying for a building permit

  • Starting the work on the foundation
